Ajax Amsterdam v PSG: Tips and prediction – 17.09.2014

By on September 16, 2014
One of the most interesting game of Wednesday in Uefa Champions League will take place in Amsterdam and will put face to face Ajax and PSG from 19:45. If we take a look at the odds, it is very clear that the french side starts in pole-position.

Ajax Amsterdam have the third chance in Group F, after Barcelona and PSG, being better seen than APOEL. The home team is coming after the victory against Heracles on this stadium, 2-1 four days ago in Eredivisie. Ajax have lost only two games in front of their own fans in 2014, 0-3 against Salzburg in Europa League in February and 1-3 against PSV three weeks ago. They will be without Fischer, injured.

PSG are without defeat after six competitive games this season. They won the Super Cup in France and after that they ticked two victories and three draws in Ligue 1. Ibrahimovic and his teammates are without defeat in the last six month when it comes about away matches. Thiago Silva and Rabiot will miss the game being injured, while David Luiz and Aurier are in doubt.

Ajax vs PSG probable lineups:
Ajax (4-3-3): Cillessen – Rhijn, Veltman, Moisander, Boilesen – Klaassen, Viergever, Serero – Ghazi, Sigthorsson, Schone.
PSG (4-3-3): Sirigu – Wiel, Luiz, Marquinhos, Digne – Pastore, Motta, Verratti – Moura, Ibrahimovic, Cavani.

Prediction: 2 @ 1.75
PSG are a much stronger team right now and we expect them to confirm this fact on the scoreboard too. We chose to bet on their victory, being in a better form, altough they will be without Thiago Silva.
The best odds for Real Madrid vs FC Basel: 1.14 – 10.00 – 21.00
