Aston Villa vs Manchester United - Tips and prediction - 14.08.2015

The opening game of the second fixture in the English Premier League will take place Friday evening from 19:45 at Villa Park, with Aston Villa hosting Manchester United. Both teams won 1-0 in the previous round, a week ago.

Aston Villa lost their most important players this summer, Benteke sold to Liverpool and Delph sold to Manchester City. The home side had a good start in the new campaign, as we said, winning 1-0 away against a new-promoted team, Bournemouth. Anyway, they hope for a good result against a much stronger team at first view like Man United, but it is good to know that their last win against MU at Villa Park took place in 1999, 3-0 in a League Cup game.

Aston Villa probable lineup (4-3-3): Guzan – Bacuna, Richards, Clark, Amavi – Veretout, Westwood, Gueye – Ayew, Gestede, Agbonlahor.
Aston Villa missing players: Okore, Grealish, Gil, Gardner (doubtful).

Manchester United managed to win three points in the first game of this season, beating Tottenham 1-0 at Old Trafford after Walker scored an own goal in the first half. United had no other real chance to score and it was a very dissapointing performance from Van Gaal’s team, but three points are three points and nothing else matters. United made some good transfers this summer and the next one on the list seems to be Pedro, very close to join Depay, Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin.

Man United probable lineup (4-2-3-1): Romero – Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw – Schneiderlin, Carrick – Mata, Depay, Young – Rooney.
Man United missing players: Jones, Fellaini, Rojo, De Gea (could be left out of the squad again).
