Aston Villa vs Tottenham: Tips and prediction – 02.11.2014

By on November 1, 2014
Aston Villa and Tottenham will play the last match this Sunday in Barclays Premier League. Villa Park will host the game starting from 16:00. Both teams are in a bad form and both need a good result here.

Aston Villa had a very good start this season, with three victories and one draw in the first four games. After that, they lost the next five games and they didn’t score any goal in this time. Agbonlahor and his teammates have the worst attack in the league, with only four goals scored. They are on the 15th position right now, with ten poinst, two more than Sunderland, the first team in the relegation zone.

Tottenham are coming after two defeats in a row and they are in the bottom half of the table at the moment. Spurs didn’t impress this season and with only 11 points in their account they couldn’t expect a Champions League place this campaign. Eriksen & co won only five points out of twelve when it comes about away games. The guests will be without Bentaleb and Walker, both injured, while Lennon is in doubt.

Tottenham managed to win the last five meetings with Aston Villa, three of them here, at Villa Park. There are almost seven years since the last Villa’s victory against Tottenham at home.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham probable lineups:
Aston Villa (4-3-3): Guzan – Hutton, Baker, Vlaar, Cissokho – Cleverley, Sanchez, Westwood – N’Zogbia, Benteke, Agbonlahor.
Tottenham (4-2-3-1): Lloris – Naughton, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose – Capoue, Mason – Lamela, Erkisen, Chadli – Adebayor.

Prediction: Tottenham (Draw no bet) @ 1.44
Aston Villa are in a very bad form, as we said, and they didn’t score any goal in the last five games. We expect Spurs to confirm their superiority, winning this game, but if we will see a draw the odds for our bet will be 1.00.
The best odds for Aston Villa vs Tottenham: 3.80 – 3.50 – 2.10
