Barcelona vs PSG: Tips and prediction – 21.04.2015

By on April 21, 2015
Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain will face each other today from 19:45 in the second leg of a very exciting UCL quarter final. There are no doubts about the fact that Barca will start with the first chance to qualify.

The catalans managed to win the first leg, 3-1 away last week, so they have a good chance to qualify in the semifinals. Messi, Suarez & co are in a very good form, proof that they recorded 11 wins and a draw in the past 12 competitive games. More than that, Barcelona won the last five home matches, scoring 15 goals, exactly three per game.
Barcelona probable lineup: Stegen – Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Alba – Rakitic, Busquets, Xavi – Messi, Suarez, Neymar.
Barcelona missing players: Vermaelen, Iniesta (doubtful).

Paris Saint Germain had some problems in the first leg, with many missing players. David Luiz was not 100% and we saw that he struggled to stop Luis Suarez at the first two goals. The parisians are coming after a good win in Ligue 1, 3-1 away with Nice and that score will be good today for them. It’s hard to believe that PSG have a chance to qualify, even with Ibrahimovic on the field.
PSG probable lineup: Sirigu – Wiel, Marquinhos, Luiz, Maxwell – Pastore, Verratti, Matuidi – Moura, Ibrahimovic, Cavani.
PSG missing players: Motta, Silva, Aurier.

Prediction: 1 @ 1.40
Barcelona showed their superiority in the first leg, away, and we expect them to do it once again in front of their own fans now. It’s good to know that PSG have some real problems in the defence.
The best odds for Barcelona vs PSG: 1.40 – 5.50 – 8.00
