Belgium V Iceland: Tips and prediction – 12.11.2014

By on November 11, 2014
Eden Hazard and his teammate from Belgium national team will have a difficult mission at first view against Iceland. The game will be played Wednesday evening from 19:45, UK Time.
The belgians are starting in pole-position, with odds aroung 1.36 at Bet365 but their opponents are in fabulous form. Belgium played only two games in Euro 2016 qualifications, recording a clear victory against Andorra, 6-0, and a draw against Bosnia away, 1-1. They made a good impression at World Cup too, being eliminated by Argentina in Quarter Finals, 0-1 after an early goal from Higuain.
Iceland is one of most surprising teams in Europa at the moment. They won all three games in Euro 2016 qualifications, 3-0 against Turkey, 3-0 against Latvia and the most important, 2-0 with Netherlands. The nordics didn’t concede a goal in the last four matches and their form is excellent. However the icelanders have the second chance in this game by far, with odds around 9.00.
Belgium won all the eight meetings with Iceland, the last one in 1977 so many things changed since then.
Prediction: 1 @ 1.36
We chose to not risk very much, so our bet is a simple one, victory for Belgium, altough Iceland are in an excellent form, as we said. The odds are acceptable right now so you should give a try.
The best odds for Belgium vs Iceland: 1.36 – 4.50 – 9.00
