Bilbao vs BATE Borisov: Tips and prediction – 10.12.2014

By on December 9, 2014
There are no mathematical chances for Bilbao and BATE Borisov to qualify in the next round of Champions League. These two sides will fight Wednesday evening from 19:45 for the Europa League last 32 round place.
Athletic Bilbao had a very bad start of this season in all competitions, but they seem to get better. The last victory, 1-0 away with Shakhtar Donetsk, gave them the first chance in winning the third place of this group. The bascs are on this position with four points and a 3-6 goal difference, having one point more than BATE Borisov. Guillermo, Etxeita and Gurpegi will miss the game, the last one being suspended.
BATE Borisov recorded one victory and four defeats in their five games this season in UCL. The guests need a victory here, otherwise they will be elminated. BATE scored only two goals so far, in their only victory, 2-1 with Bilbao. They conceded no fewer than 22 goals, meaning exactly 4,4 goals per match. They will come in Spain without any missing player. As we said, the first leg was won by BATE Borisov, 2-1 at home.
Bilbao vs BATE Borisov probable lineups:
Bilbao (4-2-3-1): Iraizoz – Iraola, Jose, Laporte, Balenziaga – Rico, Iturraspe – Susaeta, Marcos, Muniain – Aduriz.
BATE Borisov (4-2-3-1): Chernik – Khagush, Filipenko, Polyakov, Mladenovic – Volodko, Yablonski – Gordeychuk, Karnitski, Volodko – Signevich.
Prediction: Bilbao -1.0 AH @ 1.38
Bilbao’s form increased in the last weeks and we expect this thing to continue. We chose to bet on a clear victory for them, with at least two goals in front, but if they will win by a margin of only one goal, our money will be refunded.
The best odds for Bilbao vs BATE: 1.29 – 6.00 – 12.00
