By on June 10, 2014
The first match at World Cup 2014 will take place Thursday at 21:00 (UK time) and Brazil, the tournament’s host will face Croatia in the opening game, with south-american side being in pole-position to win this match.

Brazilian side has only victories this year. More precise they won three matches out of three without conceding a goal. Neymar and Co won 5-0 against South Africa, 4-0 against Panama and only 1-0 against Serbia. Scolari will field a 4-2-3-1 team with Fred up front and Neymar, Oscar and Hulk supporting him from behind. David Luiz and Silva will play as centre-backs.

Croatia will be without one of its best players, Mario Mandzukic, the striker being suspended for the first match in group stages. With two victories and one draw this year, Croatia has set its target to qualify in the next round of this tournament, over Mexico and Cameroon. Olic will replace Mandzukic up front, while Rakitic will play behind the striker.

Srna – Lovren – Corluka – Pranjic
Vukojevic – Modric
Perisic – Rakitic – Kovacic

Last time when these two teams met was at World Cup 2006, Brazil winning that match with 1-0, also in the group stages.

Prediction: Brazil -1.0 AH @ 1.48 – Bet now!
We expect Brazil to confirm its superiority in this game. It won’t be an easy match for the south-americans, but we chose to bet on a clear victory, with at least two goals in front. If they will win it with only one goal difference, the money will be refunded.
The best odds for Brazil vs Croatia: 1.30 – 5.00 – 11.00
