Brazil v Germany: Tips and prediction – 08.07.2014

By on July 7, 2014
The first Semi Final at Fifa World Cup 2014 will take place Wednesday night from 09:00 pm and Brazil, the home side, will face Germany national team. It’s hard to say which team has the first chance to win the ticket for the big final.
Brazil had a good tournament so far. The home side won three games and drew two, scoring a total of ten goal, 2.0 per game. They received a bad news  after the Quarter Final against Colombia (2-1) that Neymar will miss the rest of tournament and his injury could put his career in danger too. Brazil won the most aerials duels after Greece at this tournament, 63.1 and the south-american side has a good shots per game average, 17.5 at the moment to be more precise. After five games, brazilian players received eight yellow cards.
The other side, Germany, is in a very good form, just like Brazil. They ticked the same results as their opponents, the form at Fifa World Cup 2014 being W D W D W. Everybody says that the european side has the best starting eleven at Fifa World Cup and has the first chance to win the trophy. This is the fourth World Cup in a row for germans in Semi Finals. Germany had a good possesion so far, 63.2%, being second after Argentina with 65%. Like Brazil, this team has a good percentage when it comes about aerials duels, winning 60.4% of them.
The last time when these two teams were put face to face was in a friendly game back in 2011. Germany won that match in front of own fans, 3-2 in August 2011.
Prediction: X2 @
Brazil will have the support of the fans but without their best player, Neymar, will not be very easy against the team with the best starting eleven. Germany has a very strong squad with good quality on every position and we expect them to get at least a draw in this game.
The best odds for Brazil vs Germany: 2.80 – 3.30 – 2.75
