Bulgaria vs Italy: Tips and prediction – 28.03.2015

By on March 27, 2015
Bulgaria and Italy will offer us the most interesting game of this weekend in Group H of the Euro 2016 Qualifications. The game is scheduled Saturday evening from 19:45, UK Time and the odds are balanced enough to expect a tight game.

Bulgaria had a very good start of this campaign, winning the first match, 2-1 in Azerbaijan. After that, they ticked two defeats and a draw, so they have four points now, being on the fourth place, five points behind Top 3 and we can say that their chances to qualify at Euro 2016 will be almost zero right now if will lose this game.
Bulgaria probable lineup: Stoyanov – Terziev, Minev, Bodurov, Manolev – Slavchev, Gadzhev – Bojinov, Dyakov, Aleksandrov – Popov.
Bulgaria missing players: Georgi Milanov.

Italy had a good campaign so far, with three wins and a draw against Croatia, their main opponent in this group. The guests are coming here to get three points, but we don’t expect them to have a very easy missing in Bulgaria. Buffon & co have ten points and a 6-2 goal difference, this one being the only difference between Italya and Croatia, and that’s why the italians are on the second position.
Italy probable lineup: Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Darmian, Candreva, Rossi, Marchisio, Pasqual – Zaza, Immobile.
Italya missing players: Perin, Pirlo.

Prediction: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.53
As we said, we expect a tight game between these two sides, with maximum two goals. Bulgaria have to risk to get three points, while Italy would probably be ok with a draw after this trip.
The best odds for Bulgaria vs Italy: 4.75 – 3.40 – 1.91
