Chelsea V Bolton: Tips and prediction – 24.09.2014

By on September 24, 2014

Chelsea will host Bolton Wanderers this Wednesday evening from 19:45 in the Capitol One Cup (League Cup). The Blues have the first chance from every point of view right now, including the bookmakers offers.

Chelsea are in an excellent form, altought they ticked only two draws in the last two games. Mourinho and his players and on the first place in Premier League, with 13 points out of 15, with the best attack in the league. For this game we expect the Special One to rest some important players, including Diego Costa, their top scorer in Premier League with seven goals in five games.

Bolton Wanderers are not in their best form before this game, proof that in ten competitive games this season they managed to win only one. Their main problem remains the attack, with only thre goals scored in the last four matches, all of them against Rotherham (3-2). Bolton’s last away victory was on April 26, 3-1 against Sheffield Wed.

Chelsea won the last five games against Bolton on Stamford Bridge. The away side is without victory on this stadium in the last ten years. Their last victory here happened in December 2003, 2-1.

Prediction: Chelsea -1.5 AH @ 1.55

Without any doubt, the home team is the better one, with a much stronger squad from every point of view and we expect Chelsea to have an easy mission, winning with at least two goals in front.

The best odds for Chelsea vs Bolton: 1.20 – 7.50 – 17.00
