Colombia vs Peru - Tips and prediction - 21.06.2015

The situation in Group C is very interesting so far. All four teams have the same number of points, three, after the first two games and all of them +0 at goal difference. Everything is possible here, with Brazil and Colombia having the first chance at first view, ahead Peru and Venezuela.

Colombia are in pole-position at first view against Peru, the game being scheduled Sunday evening from 20:00, UK Time. James Rodriguez, Falcao and their teammates need a victory here to secure their place in the Quarter Finals, otherwise they have to wait the other results. Carlos Bacca won’t be available for this game, considering that he is suspended after he had ‘a fight’ with Neymar after the final whistle of the game against Brazil few days ago.

Colombia probable lineup (4-4-2): Ospina – Zuniga, Zapata, Murillo, Armero – Cuadrado, Sanchez, Valencia, Rodriguez – Falcao, Gutierez.

On the other hand, Peru are coming here after the victory against Venezuela, 1-0 two days ago. They started with a defeat this campaign, 1-2 against Brazil, but now they still have a good chance to qualify in the knock-out stage. Anyway, they need at least a draw here to hope with a real chance. It’s good to know that Peru are without victory against Colombia since 2001, playing ten times against the colombians since then.

Peru probable lineup (4-4-2): Gallese – Advincula, Zambrano, Ascues, Vargas – Sanchez, Lobaton, Ballon, Cueva – Pizarro, Guerrero.
