Crystal Palace vs Arsenal - Tips and prediction - 16.08.2015

The first duel of this Sunday in Barclays Premier League is a 100% London duel, putting face to face Crystal Palace and Arsenal. These two clubs had a different start in the new campaign and The Gunners are in pole-position here.

Palace are very strong and they have shown that in the last couple of years, especially in front of the own crowd. The hosts started very well this new campaign, winning 3-1 against Norwich City away after they controlled the whole game, both on the pitch and on the scoreboard. Palace finished on the 10th position in the previous edition of Premier League and their home form was not the best in the final part of the season.

Crystal Palace probable lineup (4-3-3): McCarthy – Ward, Delaney, Dann, Souare – Cabaye, Ledley, McArthur – Bolasie, Wickham, Puncheon.
Crystal Palace missing players: Speroni, Chamakh, Appiah, Campbell.

Arsenal had a very good season in the last edition, finishing on the third place, very close to the second one. The Gunners started with a very bad result this new campaign, losing the first league game, 0-2 vs West Ham United in front of the own fans, but they have already won a trophy, 1-0 vs Chelsea in the FA Community Shield this month. Wenger’s team is under the red line right now, but it’s too early to talk about that and we expect Arsenal to fight for Top 4 again.

Arsenal probable lineup (4-2-3-1): Cech – Debuchy, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal – Coquelin, Cazorla – Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez – Giroud.
Arsenal missing players: Wilshere, Rosicky, Welbeck (doubtful).
