Crystal Palace vs Southampton: Tips and prediction – 26.12.2014

By on December 24, 2014
Southampton will not have an easy mission Friday noon from 15:00 in the 18th fixture of Barclays Premier League. “The Saints” will face Crystal Palace and both teams are hungry for points.

Crystal Palace are coming after a bad run of games, without a win in the last five league games. They are still over the red line, the goal difference being the only reason. They have 15 points, same as Burnley, but a better GD, with 19 goals scored and 27 conceded, being on the 17th position. Palace ticked two wins, two draws and four defeats at home.

Southampton have impressed this season and they are still fightin for an Europa League place. Soton won only ten points away and this is not their strongest point. The guests are coming after an important victory, 3-0 at home with Everton, ending their bad run of five fixtures without a win. Soton will be without Fonte, suspended, and Cork, Gallagher and Rodriguez, all three injured.

Crystal Palace vs Southampton probable lineups:
Crystal Palace (4-3-3): Speroni, Kelly, Dann, Hangeland, Ward – McArthur, Jedinak, Ledley – Puncheon, Campbell, Bolasie.

Prediction: Southampton DNB @ 1.50
We expect Southampton to confirm their superiority and to continue their good season, even if the past weeks were not the best. We chose to bet on their victory, but in case of a draw our bet will have the odds 1.00.
The best odds for Crystal Palace vs Southampton: 3.75 – 3.40 – 2.15
