Dortmund vs Juventus: Tips and prediction – 18.03.2015

By on March 18, 2015
One of the most exciting game in the last 16 round of Uefa Champions League will take place today from 19:45, putting Dortmund face to face with Juventus Torino, the italians having one goal advantage after 2-1 in Italy.

Borussia Dortmund are coming after two goalless draws, away with Hamburger and here against FC Koln. They seem to be back in business, fighting for an european cup position in Bundesliga, but it is still a long way. Dortmund are undefeated at home in the last 7 weeks, their last defeat here being at the beginning of February, 0-1 vs Augsburg.
Dortmund probable lineup: Weidenfeller – Kirch, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer – Bender, Gundogan – Kampl, Mkhitaryan, Reus – Aubameyang.
Dortmund missing players: GroSkreutz, Piszczek.

On the other hand, as we said, Juventus have a little advantage after they won 2-1 at Juventus Stadium three weeks ago so they will have a tough mission today in Germany. They can’t play at 0-0 here, being too risky, so we expect them to give their best for the Quarter Finals ticket. Juve recorded seven wins and four draws in the past 11 away games in all competitions.
Juventus probable lineup: Buffon – Lichsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra – Pereyra, Marchisio, Pogba – Vidal – Morata, Tevez.
Juventus missing players: Asamoah, Romulo, Caceres, Pirlo.

Prediction: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.80
We don’t see Juventus risking too much here, while Dortmund are coming after two games without a goal scored. We expect a tight game, with maximum two goals in Germany.
The best odds for Dortmund vs Juventus: 2.25 – 3.50 – 3.40
