England V Norway: Tips and prediction – 03.09.2014

By on September 1, 2014
After a three bad games at FIFA World Cup 2014, England will try to start a new era. The british side will face Norway this Wednesday in a friendly game before the European Championship Qualifications. The game will start at 20:00.

England will be without Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard, the two veterans that decided to retire from national team after World Cup 2014. Roy Hodgson will probably keep his  favorite formation, 4-2-3-1, with Daniel Sturridge the main striker. England have a very good attack, with players like Sterling, Sturridge or Rooney up front.

Norway are looking for their second victory in 2014. They have played no fewer than six games this year, ticking only one victory, three draws and another two defeats. The away side player another friendly game a week ago against United Arab Emirates, a match that ended without any goal. Norway is not a very good team abroad, but the only victory in 2014 came in Moldova, 2-1 in January.

England and Norway were face to face in 2012 for the last time and the english players managed to win that game away, 1-0 in a friendly game too.

Prediction: 1 @ 1.57
Altough England will be without their best player, Gerrard, retired from national team, we expect the home side to win this game, considering that they are a much stronger team, with much better players at first view.
The best odds for England vs Norway: 1.57 – 4.00 – 5.50
