Feyenoord vs AS Roma: Tips and prediction – 26.02.2015

By on February 26, 2015
AS Roma will have a tough mission today from 20:05, UK Time, against Feyenoord away, fighting for a place in the last 16 round of Uefa Europa League. We saw a draw in the first leg, 1-1 at Olimpico and the odds are very balanced now.
Feyenoord are coming after a good win, 3-2 against Excelsior here few days ago in Eredivisie, but they ticked only two wins in their last five competitive matches and we can’t say that the dutch team is in an excellent form. Feyenoord will field a 4-3-3 formation, as usual, but they will be without Luke Wilkshire and Lex Immers, both players being suspended for this duel.
AS Roma also have some problems in the squad and Rudi Garcia will be without Castan, Ibarbo and Iturbe, injured. Balzaretti and Strootman have not been named in the Europa League squad. The italian side is coming after three draws in a row and they don’t hope anymore for the title in Serie A. Roma recorded eight draws in the last ten competitive matches in all competitions.
Feyenoord vs AS Roma probable lineups:
Feyenoord (4-3-3): Vermeer – Boulahrouz, Beek, Kongolo, Nelom – Vilhena, Clasie, Ahmadi – Toornstra, Kazim-Richards, Boetius.
AS Roma (4-3-3-): Sanctis – Torosidis, Manolas, Mbiwa, Holebas – Pjanic, Rossi, Nainngolan – Ljajic, Totti, Gervinho.
Prediction: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.80
We consider that Feyenoord have a strong attack, especially on this stadium, while AS Roma will come here to get the ticket for the next round but for this they need to score at least once.
The best odds for Feyenoord vs AS Roma: 2.80 – 3.40 – 2.70
