Germany V Ireland: Tips and prediction – 14.10.2014
By tipsterbets on October 14, 2014
Another very interesting game in Group D of Euro 2016 Qualifications will take place in Germany. Joachim Low and his players will host Ireland in the third fixture of this campaign.
The germans are the world champions for the next four years, but they didn’t show that so far. They struggled in the first game against Scotland, winning 2-1 at home and after that they have lost the first game against Poland away, 0-2 last weekend. We will probably see a 4-2-3-1 formation from Germany, Muller being announced in the attack, supported from behind by Podolski, Gotze and Bellarabi. You should know that Reus, Schweinsteiger, Howedes, Ozil and Kramer will miss the game due to some injuries.
Ireland seems to be a very surprising team this campaign. They are sharing the first place with Poland, having six points out of six and an impressive goal difference, 9-1. They won 2-1 in Georgia last month and three days ago they destroyed Gibraltar, 7-0 at home. The british side will field a 4-4-1-1 formation, with Robbie Keane as the mai striker and Hoolahan behind him.
Germany won three of the five meetings with Ireland, while the two others ended 1-1 in Germany and 0-0 in Ireland.
Germany vs Ireland probable lineups:
Germany (4-2-3-1): Neuer – Rudiger, Hummels, Boateng, Durm – Kroos, Rudy – Bellarabi, Gotze, Podolski – Muller.
Germany (4-2-3-1): Neuer – Rudiger, Hummels, Boateng, Durm – Kroos, Rudy – Bellarabi, Gotze, Podolski – Muller.
Ireland (4-4-1-1): Forde – Meyler, O’Shea, Wilson, Ward – McGeady, Gibson, Hendrick, McClean – Hoolahan – Keane.
Prediction: Germany -1.5 AH @ 1.73
We expect a good reaction from the germans after their last results. We chose to bet on their victory with at least two goals in front. There are no doubts about the differences between the two squads, Germany being superior from every point of view.
The best odds for Germany vs Ireland: 1.25 – 6.25 – 15.00
