Greece V Ivory Coast: Tips and predictions – 24.06.2014

By on June 23, 2014
One of the most important matches this week at Fifa World Cup 2014 will take place Tuesday night at 09:00 pm. Greece and Ivory Coast will fight for a place in the next round, the african side starting in pole-position.

Greece showed a bad form in the first two games in Brazil. They lost 0-3 against Columbia and after that they managed to get a draw with Japan. With Mitroglou injured and in doubt for this game, Greece hasn’t scored a goal until now. The victory is only option for european side and they need Colombia to win or draw against Japan too.

Ivory Coast has the first chance to go in the last 16 round. All they need to do is to not lost this game. With a draw they are almost in the next round, having a better goal difference than Japan, who need to beat Colombia to have a chance too. The couch has to choose between Drogba and Bony in attack, while Kalou, Yaya Toure and Gervinho will be in the offensive line behind the striker.

Greece probable lineup:
Karnezis
Torosidis – Sokratis – Manolas – Holebas
Salpingidis – Kone – Maniatis – Karagounis – Samaras
Gekas

Ivory Coast probable lineup:
Barry
Aurier – Toure – Bamba – Boka
Die – Tiote
Kalou – Toure – Gervinho
Drogba

Prediction: Ivory Coast (Draw no bet) @ 1.44
We consider Ivory Coast the better side with much better players, like Yaya Toure, Kolo Toure, Drogba, Bony, Kalou, Gervinho, Tiote, etc. We chose to bet on africans victory, but if we will see a draw then money will be refunded.
The best odds for Greece vs Ivory Coast: 3.80 – 3.60 – 2.05
