Hull City v West Ham: Tips and prediction -15.09.2014

By on September 14, 2014
The last game scheduled for the 4th round of Barclays Premier League will take place Monday evening from 20:00 and will put face to face to teams from the second part of the table, Hull City and West Ham United.
The tigers are in pole-position if we take a look at the odds, around 2.15 at bet365 to be more precise. Steve Bruce and his players are on the 11th place right now, with four points and a 3-3 goal difference. The home side will be without Snodgrass, injured, while Andrew Robertson is doubtful. Hull will play a 3-4-1-2 formation, with Tom Ince between the two strikers, Hernandez and Jelavic.
West Ham United ticked one victory and two defeats in the first three fixtures of the season. They are on the 14th place at the moment, having a 4-5 goal difference. It is very interesting that West Ham won their only away game, 3-1 aganist Crystal Palace three weeks ago. Sam Allardyce will field a 4-3-3 formation, but he will be without some very important players, like Carroll, Nolan, Jarvis and Jenkinson. More than that, O’Brien and Collins are in doubt.
Hull City won the last game against West Ham United on this stadium, but the hummers won the second game, 2-1 at home.
Hull City vs West Ham probable lineups:
Hull City (3-4-1-2): McGregor – Davies, Dawson, Chester – Elmohamady, Livermore, Huddlestone, Robertson – Ince – Hernandez, Jelavic
West Ham (4-3-3): Adrian – O’Brien, Reid, Tomkins, Cresswell – Song, Kouyate, Noble – Downing, Valencia, Zarate
Prediction: Over 0.5 goals in the first half @ 1.50
Both teams show good attacking game in the first three games. Considering that the two defences are not their best form, we expect a first half with at least one goal.
The best odds for Hull vs West Ham: 2.15 – 3.40 – 3.75
