Hull v Southampton: Tips and prediction – 01.11.2014

By on October 31, 2014
Two of the most surprising teams in Barclays Premier League will be face to face Saturday afternoon from 15:00. Hull City will host Southampton in the 10th fixture of this campaign.

Hull City are coming after a very good results at Anfield Road, 0-0 against Liverpool. They won five points in the last three fixutres and now they are on the 10th position in England, with a total of 11 points and a good goal difference, 13-13. Hull City have a long list with injury players. To be more precise, Jelavic, Harper, Dawson, Snodgrass, McGregord and Ramirez will miss the game. We should tell you that Hull lost only one home match this season.

Southampton impressed very much this season, altough they sold their best players last summer. “The Saints” are on the second place right now in Premier League, with 19 points and a very good goal difference, 20-5. If they will continue this way, then we can tell that Soton will have a major say in the Top 4 fight. Jay Rodriguez is still injured, while Ward-Prowse will miss the game too due to an injury.

Hull City and Southampton offered six goals last season in two meetings. Soton won the first game, 4-1 at home, while the second match was won by them too, 1-0 after a very tight game.
