Japan – Colombia: Tips and prediction – 24.06.2014

By on June 23, 2014
Japan will play its last chance to qualify in the next round of Fifa World Cup 2014 and the asian team needs all three points. They will face Colombia Tuesday from 05:00 pm, the south american side being already in the next round.
Japan lost the first game in Brazil, 1-2 against Ivory Coast after they were leading at Half Time, and after that they drew with Greece, 0-0. With only one point and a bad goal difference (1-2), Japan is third in Group C. They will play a 4-2-3-1 formation with Kagawa, Honda and Okazaki behind the main striker, Osako. Honda and full backs Uchida and Nagatomo were the best players in the last two games.
Colombia is 100% sure about its place in the last 16 round and they will win this group 99.99%. Without Falcao, injured in the last few months, Colombia won six points out of six, 3-0 against Greece and 2-1 against Ivory Coast few days ago. The south americans, like asians, will field a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Martinez as the main striker, while Quintero, Rodriguez and Ibarbo are behind him.
Japan probable lineup:
Uchida – Yoshida – Morishige – Nagatomo
Endo – Yamaguchi
Okazaki – Honda – Kagawa
Colombia probable lineup:
Zuniga – Yepes – Zapata – Arias
Aguilar – Sanchez
Quintero – Rodriguez – Ibarbo
These two teams met first time in 2003, 1-0 for Colombia, and after that they met in 2007 in a goalless game.
Prediction: X2 @ 1.40
Colombia is the better side and we expect them to win this game. It’s very possible to rest some players so we chose a double chance bet and we will win even if these teams will drew.
The best odds for Japan vs Colombia: 3.10 – 3.50 – 2.40
