Juventus v AS Roma: Tips and prediction – 05.10.2014

By on October 5, 2014
The most exciting game of the 6th fixture in Italy Serie A will take place in Torino. To be more precise, Juventus will host AS Roma from 17:00, UK Time, and it is not so easy to say which team starts with the first chance, Juve being the favorite side at bookmakers right now.

Juventus Torino are having a perfect start in Serie A, proof that after five games they managed to win all of them, scoring ten goals, without conceding any goal. Allegri will be without some of his best players. Pirlo is not 100% fit, same as Morata. More than that, Barzagli, Marrone and Romulo are all injured and there is no chance for them to be on the bench.

AS Roma are the runners-up and they are hungry for revenge after the last season results against Juve. Totti & co ticked five wins in the first five games of Serie A, but the difference between them and their opponets is made by the goal difference, 9-1 for AS Roma. De Rossi is the most important missing player for Roma. Astori, Balzaretti, Castan and Strootman are injured too, while De Sanctis is not 100% fit. Iturbe is back but he will probably start on the bench.

As we said, Roma ticked some bad results in the last season against Juventus, 0-3 on this stadium and 0-1 at home so they will probably give their best to get the revenge.

Juventus vs AS Roma probable lineups:
Juventus (3-5-2): Buffon – Ogbonna, Bonucci, Chiellini – Lichsteiner, Pogba, Marchisio, Vidal, Asamoah – Llorente, Tevez.
AS Roma (4-3-3): Skorupski – Maicon, Mbiwa, Manolas, Cole – Nainggolan, Keita, Pjanic – Florenzi, Totti, Gervinho.

Prediction: Under 3.0 goals @ 1.38
Juve and Roma have the best defences in Italy and we expect a tight game without many goals. If we will see exactly three goals, then our money will be refunded in our betting accounts.
The best odds for Juventus vs AS Roma: 1.83 – 3.50 – 4.20
