Juventus vs Dortmund: Tips and prediction – 24.02.2015

By on February 24, 2015
One of the most interesting and balanced game of the last 16 round in Champions League will take place today from 19:45 at Torino and will put face to face Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.
The home side seems to be in pole-position at bookmakers, with around 2.05 at the moment for a victory. Juventus are coming after a good run, without defeat in their last 21 competitive games and with five victories in their last five home matches. Allegri will be without Asamoah, injured, while Barzagli, Marrone and Matri are in doubt, so it’s very possible for them to miss the duel as well.
Borussia Dortmund will field a 4-2-3-1 formation, as usual, but Klopp won’t have GroSkreutz, Bender, Durm, Hummels, Immobile and Khel, few of them being in doubt and there is a small chance to see them from the first minute. The german side is coming after three wins in a row and their moral is good again after a very bad first part of this campaign. Dortmund scored ten goals in their last three matches and their are undefeated in three trips this year.
Juventus vs Dortmund probable lineups:
Juventus (4-3-1-2): Buffon – Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra – Marchisio, Pirlo, Pogba – Vidal – Tevez, Llorente.
Dortmund (4-2-3-1):
Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Subotic, Sokratis, Schmelzer – Sahin, Gundogan – Mkhitaryan, Kagawa, Reus – Aubameyang.
Prediction: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.83
We decided to bet on goals from both sides today. Juventus have a strong squad and they need a good result at home, while Dortmund’s form is getting better and better with a good attack in the last couple of weeks.
The best odds for Juventus vs Dortmund: 2.05 – 3.40 – 4.10
