Klopp wary of explosives in city derby

Borrusia Dortmund manager, Jurgen Klopp is hoping that there won’t be more explosive devices within the cub’s sporting complex after an unexploded device made the club to postpone the usual press conference ahead of their clash with Schalke 04. Klopp who was visibly shaken will be happy if such disturbing incidents never happened again. The manager had to relocate the press conference to the club’s training ground after the explosive was discovered near the usual conference point.

The device might not have been discovered if it wasn’t for the scheduled renovation going on in the VIP area of the west stand. Experts believed that since the explosive was unearthed, it is likely to be a relic from the World War II. The explosive was eventually detonated in a controlled environment.

In other news, Jurgen Klopp’s side will attempt to extend their winning run to four consecutive matches when they host Schalke this weekend, their nine points haul from three games has handed them a much needed boost as they are currently 12th on the log. Both teams suffered defeats in their recent European ties but Dortmund are apparently better propped to qualify considering Marco Reus’s away goal at Turin.

During the press conference, Klopp noted that their weekend’s opponent are a strong side technically and with such prowess, Dortmund will have minimal space to operate which according to the manager is a pointer to how careful the hosts need to be. He further explained that Dortmund will not have the luxury of several great chances and urged his side not to be wasteful.

The manager believes that the tactic that the visitors will likely adopt is to sit back and attempt lethal counter attacks. He however believes that his side understands the problems that they will be facing and have the right solution to them.
