Leicester City vs Liverpool: Tips and prediction – 02.12.2014

By on December 1, 2014
Leicester City will host the most dissapointing team of this campaign, Liverpool. These two sides will be face to face Tuesday evening at 19:45 in the 13th fixture of Premier League.
Leicester City are the most out of form in the league right now, proof that they won only one in the last five fixtures, 0-0 against Sunderland ten days ago. The new-promoted team has only ten points and a very bad goal difference (13-21), being on the 20th place, with one point less than Hull City, the first team over the red line right now. Leicester recorded one victory, four draws and one defeat in front of their own fans.
Liverpool are coming after a crucial victory against Stoke City last weekend, 1-0 after Glen Johnson scored the winner in the last five minutes after a very risky effort. The cormorans are only on the 11th place after 13 fixtures played, with only 17 points and a negative goal difference of 16-18. They miss Daniel Sturridge, still injured. Rodgers will also be without Suso, Flanagan and Sakho, all injured.
Liverpool probable lineup (4-2-3-1): Mignolet – Johnson, Skrtel, Toure, Moreno – Henderson, Gerrard – Sterling, Coutinho, Lallana – Lambert.
The last meeting between these to sides took place in 2004 and it was a goalless draw. Liverpool won only one of the last five away games with Leicester.
Prediction: Under 3.5 goals @ 1.38
Leicester City are not very proud about their attacking force and they will probably play for a draw. Liverpool are still struggling in the attack and we don’t expect them to score too many goals here.
The best odds for Leicester vs Liverpoo: 4.00 – 3.60 – 2.00
