Lens V PSG France Ligue 1: Tips and prediction – 17.10.2014

By on October 15, 2014
The only team wihtout defeat in Ligue 1, Paris Saint Germain, will face Lens away this Friday from 19:30 in the opening game of the 10th fixture in France Ligue 1. The two team are diametrically opposed on the table.

Lens are facing a tought time, considering that they are coming after five games without victory in Ligue 1, winning only two points. After the first nine games, the new-promoted team managed to win only eight points and their goal difference, 7-10, is not an impressive one. With these numbers, the guests are only on the 18th place in France, the first one under the red line.

PSG will benefit from returning of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the striker being fit for this game. The champions are the only ones without defeat in the first nine games. They didn’t impress too much, ticking only three victories and six draws. With 15 points and a good goal difference of 15-6, PSG are on the third place, seven points behind Olympique Marseille, the best team in the league so far. PSG Will field a 4-3-3 formation, with Ibrahimovic in the centre of attack, while Cavani and Lucas Moura will play on the flanks.

In the last four years we have seen three games between Lens and PSG. The parisians managed to win two of them, while the last on, on 12.02.2011 ended with goalless draw.

Prediction: PSG -1.0 HA @ 1.48
PSG are in pole-position right now, being the better side from every point of view. We expect Zlatan & co to win the game without any problems, but if we will see a victory by a margin of only one goal, then our money will be refunded.
The best odds for Lens vs PSG: 11.00 – 4.80 – 1.30
