Lille vs Wolfsburg: Tips and prediction – 11.12.2014

By on December 11, 2014
Lille and Wolfsburg will probably not be the most spectacular game of today in Europa League. It will start at 20:05 (UK Time) and it will be interesting to see Lille forcing a victory.
Lille have some real problems in the attack this season, despite the fact that Origi is one of the most talented young strikers in Europe right now. The french side won only four points in Group H after four draws and a defeat, being on the third position. They need a victory with any price here, otherwise they will be left home, failing to qualify in the last 32 round. Lille and Wolfsburg drew in the first leg, 1-1 in Germany.
Wolfsburg are coming after two victories in a row in Bundesliga, 1-0 at home with M’gladbach and 3-1 away against Hannover. The good news are that they have no missing players, only Paul Seguin being in doubt after an injury. The german side has seven points and it is on the second place in Group H, four points behind Everton and three ahead Lille. In this case, they need at least a draw to qualify in the next round.
Lille vs Wolfsburg probable lineups:
Lille (4-3-3): Enyeama – Corchia, Kjaer, Basa, Souare – Balmont, Mavuba, Gueye.
Wolfsburg (4-2-3-1): Benaglio – Jung, Naldo, Knoche, Rodriguez – Guilavogui, Gustavo – Perisici, Hunt, Bruyne – Olic.
Prediction: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.75
As we said, we don’t expect this game to be a spectacular one and we chose to bet on maximum two goals, as we saw in the first game between these two sides (1-1 in Germany).
The best odds for Lille vs Wolfsburg: 3.50 – 3.50 – 2.20
