Liverpool V Chelsea: Tips and prediction – 08.11.2014

By on November 9, 2014
Anfield Road will host the derby of this weekend in Barclays Premier League. To be more precise, Liverpool will face Chelsea this Saturday from 12:45 in this round opening game.

The Reds are struggling right now and they are missing Daniel Sturridge in attack, the english striker being still injured. Liverpool are only 7th in Premier League after ten games, with 14 points and a not impressive goal difference (13-13). The cormorans recorded two victories, two draws and one defeat at Anfield this campaign, scoring only five goals in five games. As we said, Sturridge is still unfit, while Suso, Enrique, Flanagan and Sakho are injured and will miss the derby.

Chelsea seem to be the best team in Premier League this season. They are unbeaten this season, having eight wins and two victories. The londoners are leading the table with 26 points in their account and they can be proud of their goal difference, 26-10, best in the league. Mourinho will have only two missing players, not starting eleven ones. Loic Remy and John Obi Mikel are injured and will not travel to Liverpool.

Chelsea managed to win both games against Liverpool last season, 2-1 at home and 2-0 here, destroying their chances for title at the end of April.

Liverpool vs Chelsea probable lineups:
Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Mignolet – Johnson, Skrtel, Toure, Moreno – Leiva, Henderson – Sterling, Gerrard, Lallana – Balotelli.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Courtois – Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta – Fabregas, Matic – Willian, Oscar, Hazard – Costa.

Prediction: Chelsea (Draw no bet) @ 1.53
As we said, the blues are the most in form right now in Premier League, while Liverpool are in a bad situation, with some important missing players. We expect Chelsea to win, but in case of a draw, our money will be refunded.
The best odds for Liverpool vs Chelsea: 3.60 – 3.40 – 2.20
