Macedonia vs Spain - Tips and prediction - 08.09.2015

Another interesting game that is scheduled today in the Euro 2016 Qualifiers will put face to face Macedonia and Spain from 19:45. There is a big difference between these two sides and we have no doubts about which team has the first chance.

Macedonia had a really bad campaign so far winning only three points after seven games. They are on the last position in Group C, even behind Luxembourg (4 pts). Their goal difference is an unimpressive one too, with six goals scored and no fewer than 15 conceded. Macedonia lost all four meetings with Spain so far, since 1994. We’ll probably see a defensive lineup from the hosts, a 4-4-1-1 or a 4-5-1 formation.

Macedonia probable lineup (4-4-1-1): Pacovski – Bdrarovski, Shikov, Mojsov, Zuta – Ibraimi, Petrovic, Gligorov, Trajkovski – Muarem – Ivanovski.

As we said, there are no doubts about Spain’ superiority here. They are leading this group, with 18 points after six wins and only a defeat. Anyway, they have the same number of points as Slovakia, the difference being made by the goals. Ramos & co need three points here to make another step to Euro 2016. We’ll surely see a 4-3-3 formation from Spain, as usual. We expect to see Pedro, Costa and David Silva starting in the attacking line today.

Spain probable lineup (4-3-3): Casillas – Juanfran, Pique, Ramos, Alba – Cazorla, Busquets, Iniesta – Pedro, Costa, Silva.
