Man United vs Chelsea: Tips and prediction – 26.10.2014

By on October 26, 2014
The most important and at the same time the most exciting game of Premier League 9th fixture will take place Sunday afternoon from 16:00 at Old Trafford. Manchester United will face the strongest team of this season in England, Chelsea.
The home team comes after three fixtures without defeat and it seems to get better every game. Louis van Gaal and his players didn’t impress very much this season, proof that United managed to win only 12 points in the first eight games. After the Saturday’s results Di Maria & co are on the 8th place, three behind the Top 4. Wayne Rooney will be the most important missing player, the english striker being suspended for this game.
Chelsea had a very good start this campaign and they ticked seven victories and one draw in the first eight matches of Premier League. Mourinho’s team has 22 points out of 24 and a very good goal difference, 23-8 right now. Chelsea are the only ones without defeat so far. Cezar Azpilicueta is suspended and his place will be taken by Felipe Luis in the starting eleven. Schurrle will play as the main striker, with Costa being not 100% fit.
The londoners didn’t lose any game in the last three away matches against Manchester United. The last meeting between these two sides was in January, 3-1 for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Manchester United vs Chelsea probable lineups:
Man United (4-3-1-2): De Gea – Rafael, Jones, Smalling, Rojo – Herrera, Blind, Fellaini – Di Maria – Falcao, van Persie.

Prediction: X2 @ 1.40
There are no doubts about Chelsea superiority at the moment. We expect the away team to confirm this fact on the scoreboard too and we also expect them to get at least one point at Old Trafford.
