Manchester City v Tottenham: Tips and prediction – 18.10.2014

By on October 16, 2014
The 8th fixture of Barclays Premier League will start with the most exciting game of this round, Manchester City hosting Tottenham Hotspur. The game is scheduled Saturday from 12:45, UK Time.

The citizens are getting better and better. After a difficult start, they seem to be at their best again. They won the last two Premier League games, 4-2 away against Hull and 2-0 at Villa Park. Aguero and his teammates are on the second place right now, with 14 points, five behind Chelsea. They will field a 4-4-2 formation, Dzeko and Aguero being announced in the attack, while Silva and Milner will support them on the wings.

Tottenham will field a 4-2-3-1 formation as we saw in the last weeks. They won the last match, 1-0 against Southampton at White Hart Lane, ending a bad row with four games without victory. Spurs are on the 6th place at the moment, with 11 points, same as Manchester United (4th place), but with a weaker goal differnce, 9-7 after seven games. Tottenham are without defeat after three away games, ticking one victory and two draws.

Last season Manchester City didn’t have any problems against Spurs. They won 6-0 here, at Etihad Stadium and 5-1 away at White Hart Lane.

Manchester City vs Tottenham probabile lineups:
