Manchester City will sack Pellegrini if…

Manuel Pelligrini has received stern warning about the expectations of the club’s management. The Champions have been passing through rough times having lost 2 of their last four games. They currently sit in the 3rd place on the League table but are about 6 points adrift of the league leaders Chelsea. The Citizens will be facing bitter rivals Manchester United in the much awaited Manchester derby on Sunday and will also face CSKA Moscow at home on Wednesday.

One of Manchester City’s legends And Marsh was quoted by TalkSport to have said ‘I think Pellegrini will get the sack. There is every chance if this carries on that Pellegrini will get the the sack. There is every chance if this carries on that Pellegrini will be out the same as Mancini was.

If Pellegrini carries on like this, and Man City don’t win the league or get to the final at least of the Champions League, I think Pellegrini is sacked.’

Marsh who scored 36 goals in about 118 league appearances for the Citizens is not only bothered by the defeats that his former employers have been suffering but the terrible run of form that the squad has been displaying in the last four matches. The Citizens surrendered a 2-goal lead to draw CSKA Moscow in Russia and as if that wasn’t enough, went down to a 2-1 against the Hammers at Upton Park last weekend. The City legend went on to say:

Man City have got loads of world class players that, apart from David Silva and Sergio Aguero, are all playing ordinary football at the same time. When you have that, it doesn’t matter how brilliant the players are, if you are not pulling in the same direction you are going to struggle.

I heard this morning that they are the oldest squad of players in the whole of the Premier League and at the moment, I think City are really struggling.’

In the crunchy encounter that will feature both Manchester teams this weekend, Manuel Pelligrini will hope to secure a win so as to maintain or better still reduce the advantage that the league leaders, Chelsea current have.
