Monaco vs Arsenal: Tips and prediction – 17.03.2015

By on March 18, 2015
AS Monaco and Arsenal will be face to face today from 19:45 in a very interesting game, with the french side in pole-position to quaify in the Quarter Finals of the competition.

AS Monaco are coming after two important victories in Ligue 1, 3-1 away vs Evian TG and 3-0 at home against Bastia, so their attack is in a very good form. Berbatov and his teammates managed to win 3-1 at Emirates Stadium three weeks ago, so they are with a foot in the next round of UCL. Monaco’s last home defeat took place in September 2014, 0-1 against Nice.
AS Monaco probable lineup: Subasic – Toure, Abdennour, Wallace, Kurzawa – Kondogbia, Toulalan – Dirar, Moutinho, Carrasco – Berbatov.
AS Monaco missing players: Bakayoko, Raggi, Traore.

On the other hand, Arsenal will have a very difficult task today in France. The english side needs a 3-0 win or more to qualify. Even if it is very clear that the gunners are in a good form, we think that it is very hard to see them getting the quarter finals ticket. The good news are that Arsenal managed to win five of the last six away matches in all competitions.
Arsenal probable lineup: Szczesny – Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal – Ramsey, Coquelin – Cazorla, Ozil, Sanchez – Giroud.
Arsenal missing players: Debuchy, Diaby, Chamberlain, Areteta, Wilshere (doubtful).

Prediction: X2 @ 1.36
We expect Arsenal to give their best trying to get a good result here, hoping for a miracle. Even if we don’t see them qualifying, we can see them getting at least a draw in France.
The best odds for Monaco vs Arsenal: 1.62 – 1.30 – 1.34
