PSG V Barcelona: Tips and prediction – 30.09.2014

By on September 30, 2014
The most exciting game of Tuesday evening in Uefa Champions League will take place in Paris. To be more precise, PSG and Barcelona, the best teams of Group F will be face to face in a fight for the first place.

PSG have won only one point in the first game, 1-1 away against Ajax Amsterdam. The french side have to change the formation for this game, considering that Lavezzi and Ibrahimovic are injured, while Thiago Silva is in doubt. We expect them to play a 4-3-1-2 formation, with Pastore behind the two strikers, Cavani and Bahebeck.

Barcelona will be without Luis Suarez, suspended for another four weeks. More than that, Jordi Masip is injured and will miss the game too. After the first match, the catalans are on the first place in Group F, with three points. They had some problems against APOEL Nicosia, only 1-0 in front of their own fans, Pirue scoring the only goal.

Barca and PSG were face to face two season ago too, in the Quarter Finals. We saw two draws at that time, 1-1 in Barcelona and 2-2 in Paris, so the spanish side managed to qualify in the next round.

PSG vs Barcelona probable lineups:
PSG (4-3-1-2): Sirigu – Wiel, Luiz, Marquinhos, Digne – Matuidi, Motta, Verratti – Pastore – Cavani, Bahebeck.
Barcelona (4-3-3): Bravo – Alves, Mascherano, Mathieu, Alba – Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta – Haddadi, Messi, Neymar.

Prediction: Barcelona (Draw no bet) @ 1.40
Barcelona will be with all their best players, excepting Luis Suarez who is suspended. The other side, PSG, will be without Lavezzi, Ibrahimovic and Silva, three of their most important players, so their mission will not be an easy one. If we will see a draw, our money will be refunded.
The best odds for PSG vs Barcelona: 3.90 – 3.70 – 2.00
