QPR vs Aston Villa: Tips and prediction – 27.10.2014

By on October 27, 2014
One of the most balanced game of the 9th fixture in Barclays Premier League, at least if we take a look at the odds, will be played today from 20:00, UK Time, at Loftus Park. To be more precise, QPR will host Aston Villa in the last game of this fixture.
The londoners are coming after five rounds with only one point won. They have a total of four points after the first eight matches, having the worst goal difference as well, 6-18. QPR won all these points here, on Loftus Park. Faurlin and Jordon Mutch are injured and they will miss the game, while Joey Barton is not 100% fit and we will probably see him on the bench. Zamora and Vargas will play up front.
Aston Villa are not in their best form right now, proof that they lost the last three matches, 0-3 against Arsenal, 0-3 against Chelsea, 0-2 against City and 0-3 against Everton. They started very well this new campaign, with ten points in the first four games, but after that they didn’t managed to get a point in the next four rounds. Fabian Delph will miss the game due to an injury, same as Kozak. Baker is in doubt and Vlaar will take his place.
QPR vs Aston Villa probable lineups:

QPR (4-4-2):  Green – Onuoha, Caulker, Ferdinand, Suk-Young – Isla, Sandro, Henry, Fer – Vargas, Zamora.
Aston Villa (4-3-3): Guzan – Hutton, Vlaar, Senderos, Cissokho – Cleverley, Westwood, Sanchez – Weimann, Benteke, Agbonlahor.
Prediction: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.83
In the last four meetings, from 2011 until now, we saw goals from both teams in every game. We expect the same thing here, considering their defensive problems at the moment.
The best odds for QPR vs Aston Villa: 2.40 – 3.30 – 3.30
