Real Madrid vs Schalke: Tips and prediction – 10.03.2015

By on March 10, 2015
The second game of Tuesday evening in Champions League will take place at Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid and will put face to face Real Madrid and Schalke 04, the galactics having the first chance to qualify, without any doubts.

Real Madrid are coming after a bad result, losing 0-1 against Bilbao few days ago in La Liga, losing the first place in Spain. Ancelotti and his players are undefeated in six home matchs this year, scoring a total of 14 goals, more than two per game so far. Real Madrid won 3-1 last season here against Schalke, in the last 16 round of UCL as well.
Real Madrid probable lineup: Casillas – Carvajal, Varane, Pepe, Marcelo – Illarramendi, Kroos, Isco – Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo.
Real Madrid missing players: Rodriguez, Ramos (doubtful).

Schalke 04 are coming after an important victory in Bundesliga, 3-1 against Hoffenheim in front of their own fans, ending a very bad run with four games in a row without a win. Schalke’s last away victory took place at the middle of December, almost three months ago. The german side still has a lot of injured players, while Boateng is suspended.
Schalke probable lineup: Wellenreuther – Howedes, Ayhan, Nastasic – Barnetta, Hoger, Neustadter, Meyer, Fuchs – Huntelaar, Moting.
Schalke missing players: Draxler, Fahrmann, Farfan, Obasi, Boateng.

Prediction: Real Madrid -1.5 AH @ 1.60
As we saw in the first leg, we expect another clear victory from Real Madrid, with at least two goals in front, even if they are 90% already qualified in the next round of this competition.
The best odds for Real Madrid vs Schalke: 1.22 – 7.00 – 15.00
