Schalke vs Sporting: Tips and prediction – 21.10.2014

By on October 21, 2014
Schalke 04 and Sporting Lisbon are still looking for their first victory in this edition of Uefa Champions League. These two sides will face each other Tuesday evening from 19:45, UK Time.

Schalke are in pole-position if we take a look at the odds. The german side ticked only two draws in the first two games, 1-1 away against Chelsea and the same result against Maribor on their own pitch. Schalke will play a 4-2-3-1 formation and will be without Kolasinac, Giefer, Goretzka and Farfan. More than that, Felipe Santana and Sidney Sam could miss the game too, being not 100% at the moment.

Sporting Lisbon are coming with a very good moral at this game due to the victory against FC Porto few days ago, 3-1 away in Portugal Primera Liga. The good news for the lusitans are that they will have the all players for this match and there will be no missing player. Mario, Mauricio and Silva will start their first Champions League match this season, while Carrillo, Slimani and Nani will be in the attacking line.

Schalke vs Sporting probable lineups:
Schalke (4-2-3-1): Fahrmann – Uchida, Ayhan, Howedes, Fuchs – Aogo, Neustadter – Moting, Boateng, Draxler – Huntelaar.
Sporting (4-3-3): Patricio – Soares, Mauricio, Sarr, Silva – Mario, Carvalho, Silva – Carrillo, Slimani, Nani.

Prediction: Over 2.0 goals AH @ 1.44
This could be a real final for the second place of the group and we expect these two times to try their best to get a victory. We expect a spectacular game, with at least three goals. If we will see exactly two goals, our money will be refunded.
The best odds for Schalke vs Sporting: 1.91 – 3.75 – 4.33
