South Korea v Belgium: Tips and Predictions – 26.06.2014

By on June 26, 2014
Belgium will play this last game in group stage against South Korea without any pressure, being already in the next round, it is not sure that Belgium will win the group. The game will start at 09:00 pm.

South Korea must play at its best to hope for a place in the last 16 round. The asians are on the fourth place in Group H with only one point and a poor goal difference, 3-5 to be more precise. It will not be an easy mission for them, even if Belgium will rest some of its best players. South Korea has no missing players for this game. It is not a secret that their weakness is the defence.

Belgium won the first two games and now is on the first place in Group H with six points. They struggled against Rusia and Algeria, winning by one goal each time. Hazard & co could miss the first place if they will lose this game and Algeria will defeat Russia. The europeans will keep the 4-2-3-1 formation, Origi being announced in attack in Lukaku’s place.

South Korea probable lineup:
Sung-Ryong
Yong – Jeong-Hu – Young-Gwon – Suk-Young

This is the fourth games between South Korea and Belgium. The belgians won a game in 1990 (2-0) and another one in 1999 (1-2), while at World Cup 1998 they draw against South Korea (1-1).

Prediction: Victory for Belgium @ 1.80
Belgium will use some players from the bench but we still trust their superiority and their good form. For example, Belgium won five times in the last five games, scoring more than two goals per game.
The best odds for South Korea vs Belgium: 5.00 – 3.75 – 1.80
