Southampton V Leicester City: Tips and prediction – 08.11.2014

By on November 9, 2014
Southampton and Leicester are in a very different situations at the moment and “The Saints” will start in pole-position the game. This match is part of the 11th fixture in Premier League and it is scheduled Saturday afternoon from 15:00.

Southampton continue to impress, proof that after ten games played they have seven victories, one draw and two defeats, being on the second place in Premier League, four points behind Chelsea and two ahead of Manchester City. “The Saints” have an excellent goal difference as well (21-5). We will see a 4-3-3 from them, Pelle being the main striker. Jay Rodriguez, Ward-Prowse and Gallagher are injured and will miss the game.
Leicester City are coming after five games without victory in Premier League. The new-promoted team has only nine points in its account and a bad goal difference (11-16), with big problems in attack. Leicester City ticked a very impressive win this season, 5-3 at home against Manchester United in September. The guests will come here without Upson and Ben Hamer, both being injured.

Three season ago these two teams were face to face last time, in Championship. Leicester won both games, 3-2 at home and 2-0 here, but in the end Soton managed to promote.
