Spain V Germany: Tips and prediction – 18.11.2014

By on November 17, 2014
The most exciting friendly of Tuesday evening will take place in Spain, Celta Vigo’s pitch hosting the game between Spain and Germany, the last two world champions. The kick off will be at 19:45.

The spanish side is coming after a good result, 3-0 against Belarus three days ago, being on the second plae in Group C right now, with the same number of points as Ukraine and three points behind Slovakia. Spain won their all five home games in 2014, scoring a total of 13 goals, conceding only one in the 5-1 victory against Macedonia two months ago.

Spain probable lineup (4-4-2): Kiko Casilla – Juanfran, Ramos, Pique, Alba – Callejon, Koke, Soriano, Isco – Alcacer, Pedro.

Germany have the second chance at bookmakers. They managed to win only 4-0 against Gibraltar last week and their form is not the best right now. The german side has only seven points after four matches, being on the second position in Group D. We will probably see a 4-2-3-1 formation from the germans, with Thomas Muller being announced the main striker.

Germany probable lineup (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Howedes, Mustafi, Ginter, Durm – Khedira, Kroos – Bellarabi, Gotze, Podolski – Muller.

The last meeting between these two national football teams took place in 2010, in the FIFA World Cup 2010 Final, Spain winning that game, 1-0 after a very tight match.

Prediction: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.83
Considering that both teams have very strong attacks at the moment and players that can make the difference anytime, we expect goals from both sides, altough they have good defences too.
The best odds for Spain vs Germany: 2.10 – 3.30 – 3.50
