Today betting tips: Liverpool v Hull – 25.10.2014

By on October 25, 2014

  • Liverpool‘s defense is all over the place but it shouldn’t be tested too much. Hull coming to Anfield is too big off a task for them, Hull City are conceding on average 2-3 goals a game this season. The pace off Sterling will tear the defense apart.
  • Hull’s only away win came on the first day of the season against qpr , Liverpool made a slow start to the season but are now finding form and have climbed to 5th,hull have been dire away from home since they rejoined the premiership and though i don’t think they will be over run they will struggle to get anything from this game.
  • I think Liverpool will win comfortably against hull. Although Hull put a good performance against arsenal, Liverpool will want the win with the poor midweek defeat to Real Madrid.
  • Liverpool need to win this game and on the back of a 3nil lost to Madrid in the champions league, they are going to be going all out. And home advantage should have too much class for hull.

  • Liverpool have won 2, drawn 1 and lost 2 of their last five Premiership matches, Hull have won 1, drawn 3 and lost 1 of their last five Premiership matches. Liverpool will have home advantage here, but have been in really quite mixed form recently, getting hammered by Real Madrid mid week, and having some luck to get a close win over QPR last weekend and not being very convincing in many recent performances. Hull meanwhile have got somewhat mixed results, but have put in some fighting and spirited performances often, nearly getting a win away at Arsenal and still getting a point, and fighting well against Man City as well as getting a win over Crystal Palace. With Liverpool in really mixed form and sub standard performances, and Hull doing quite well in performances and scoring well getting 2 goals in each of their last six matches since September, I think Liverpool really lack value here, with Hull well able on recent form to get something from this game I think, and I could really quite likely see Hull get at least a draw here, with a draw really offering some very good value here.
  • Liverpool are in poor form, another defeat midweek and a poor performance against Real Madrids with Ballotelli under the spotlight. In their last 5 they have won 2, both of which was little convincing and drew with Everton as well as defeats to real and Basel. Liverpools win percentage decreases the most in the league after midweek football. Hull arrive after a big draw at arsenal and no midweek game, they have drawn 2 of their last 3 aways and have gone 2 without defeat. Another draw is on the cards and think Steve Bruce will be more than happy with it.
  • I’m going for the draw here. I always think Liverpool are hugely underpriced and I don’t know if it is the bookies being reluctant to offer too good odds on a big team or there is a delusion factor amongst Liverpool fans but there’s no way they should be 1.45. Hull are no mugs and Steve Bruce always sets them up well. With Liverpool in poor form, Balotelli causing problems and a little unrest beginning to surface, Liverpool are worth opposing.

  • 7/1 on the away win is well worth a wager today, with Liverpool badly lacking in the firepower department with no Suarez, Sturridge injured, Balotelli still to score a first league game, also on the back of being outplayed and comfortably beaten by Real Madrid in midweek, Hull are proving to be difficult to beat this season as they proved at Arsenal last week and proved they can score goals as well as defend, sure to frustrate Liverpool today, they are well capable of springing a surprise today.
  • Liverpool are weak this season, this is the reality and Hull can take advantage of this weak period for Gerrard and co. Hull have a good period, with a win and a draw at Arsenal, after a very good game made on Emirates, but in the end they’ve been unlucky.I won’t be surprised if Hull will win at Liverpool, who’s playing after a 0-3 home lose against real Madrid in Champions League this week.
  • Liverpool had all the luck in the world last weekend when beating QPR away. They needed 2 own goals and played very averagely throughout. Balotelli has been poor with just one goal in 11 and may be benched for this. Hull were beating Arsenal in their last game until Wellbeck scored a last minute equaliser. Prior to that they had beaten Crystal Palace 2-0. Hull also beat Liverpool for the first time in their history last year and although that was at the KC stadium, I would say Hull have improved somewhat since then while Liverpool look a shadow of the team that finished as runners up last season and were easily beaten by Madrid midweek.
  • Liverpool are a shadow of the team that for so long last season looked like potential champions. Their last two outings versus QPR and Real Madrid have shown up glaring deficiences in defence and without Luis Suarez dont seem to have the firepower to get themselves out of trouble. Hull City have been playing well and gave a good show versus Manchester City and this would be down as a game they will have a go at to get some precious league points.
